About the Awards
NOMOREFROG AI Film Awards (NAIFA) is an international competition dedicated to celebrating the future of AI-powered filmmaking.
We welcome films that explore new forms of storytelling through artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, and innovative creative processes. From AI-generated cinema and animation to experimental narratives, music videos, and hybrid productions, we seek works that challenge conventional boundaries and expand the language of film.
Founded in Seoul, South Korea, the festival aims to connect filmmakers, artists, technologists, and creative thinkers from around the world who are shaping the next generation of visual storytelling. Selected projects will be recognized through our Official Selection, Finalist, and Winner, and the Pink Frog awards.
NOMOREFROG AI Film Awards believes that technology is not a replacement for creativity, but a new tool for human expression.

Online & Offline Screening
NOMOREFROG AI Film Awards is a hybrid film festival featuring both online and in-person screening programs.
Officially Selected films may be showcased through the festival’s online screening platform, the NOMOREFROG YouTube channel, and other digital exhibition channels operated by the festival.
In addition, selected films may be presented at special in-person screening events organized by NOMOREFROG AI Film Awards, providing opportunities for filmmakers, audiences, and industry professionals to connect and engage in a shared cinematic experience.
Filmmakers retain full ownership and copyright of their work. Any screening, promotion, or exhibition of selected films will be conducted solely for festival-related purposes.
Through both online and offline screenings, NOMOREFROG AI Film Awards aims to celebrate innovative AI-powered storytelling and connect creators and audiences worldwide.
Rules & Terms
Maximum running time: 20 minutes.
All entries must include a Vimeo or YouTube screening link.
A symbolic submission fee of $1 applies to all entries for the Founding Edition.
Eligibility
NOMOREFROG AI Film Awards accepts AI-generated, AI-assisted, and AI-enhanced films from creators worldwide.
Completion Date
There are no restrictions on the production year of submitted works.
Language
Films in languages other than English must include English subtitles.
AI Usage
Submitted works must incorporate artificial intelligence as a meaningful part of the creative or production process. Entrants may be asked to briefly describe the AI tools or workflow used in the creation of their project.
Ownership & Rights
Entrants must own or have obtained all necessary rights, permissions, and licenses for the submitted work, including music, images, footage, voices, and any third-party materials.
Multiple Entries
Multiple submissions are permitted.
Each entry must be submitted separately and accompanied by the applicable submission fee.
Screening
Officially Selected projects may be featured in the festival's offline screening event, online screening program, promotional materials, website, social media channels, or other festival-related activities.
Judging
All submissions will be reviewed by the festival director.
Decisions of the festival are final and cannot be appealed.
Awards
Selected projects may receive Official Selection, Finalist, Winner, or the festival's special award, the Pink Frog Award (Special Award).
Refund Policy
All submission fees are non-refundable.
Liability
The festival is not responsible for any copyright violations committed by entrants.
Responsibility for all submitted content remains solely with the submitter.
Agreement
By submitting a project, entrants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to all festival rules and terms.
AI Usage Disclosure
The festival does not judge works based on the amount of AI used. Projects are evaluated on creativity, storytelling, artistic vision, and overall impact.

Selection Process
All submitted projects are reviewed by the NAIFA selection committee.
Works are evaluated based on creativity, storytelling, artistic vision, technical execution, and the meaningful use of artificial intelligence in the creative process.
The jury may also consider innovation, originality, and overall impact. Final decisions are made collectively by the festival selection committee.
Jake Choi
Founder of NOMOREFROG, CHOICINE CO., LTD.
Jake Choi is a filmmaker, creative director, and founder of NOMOREFROG, a Seoul-based AI studio and creative community.
His work has received recognition at international film festivals. He has served as a judge for public creative competitions, including programs supported by KOICA, and has worked as an NCS-certified instructor in media and content production.
Through filmmaking, education, and emerging technologies, he explores new possibilities for storytelling in the age of artificial intelligence.
As Festival Director of NAIFA, he is committed to discovering innovative voices and supporting creators who push the boundaries of AI-powered cinema.
